Dr. Supakit Sirilak serves as the Executive Director, Health Systems Research Institute, Thailand. Prior to this role, he was the Deputy Permanent Secretary, MOPH Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Chief of Inspector General, the Chief of Provincial Health Office, and the Senior Advisor in Preventive Medicine of the Thai Ministry of Public Health. He also was the 9th and 10TH president of the National Health Assembly committee. He has enormous experiences in health policy and systems for example Universal Health Coverage, health workforces, health service delivery systems, and migrant and border health. Importantly, he is knowledgeable and skillful in Global Health. During COVID-19 period, he has chaired the MOPH Intelligence Unit which generates key strategies and policy options for the MOPH Emergency Operation Centre (EOC).
Dr. Supakit Sirilak has an M.D. from Chulalongkorn University and a Master of Primary Health Care Management (MPHM) from ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Mahidol University. He received a diploma in Preventive Medicine Specialist from the Medical Council of Thailand.
