Rebekah is a board-certified and licensed genetic counselor specializing in rare and undiagnosed disease. She oversees multidisciplinary clinics dedicated to neuro-metabolic conditions, X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD), and an adult transition clinic. As a leader in rare disease research and clinical infrastructure, Rebekah serves as the site coordinator for the CHOC-UCI NORD Center of Excellence and the UCI-CHOC Undiagnosed Diseases Network (UDN) program. Additionally, Rebekah is a coordinator and analyst for the UCI-GREGoR project. Her professional contributions include serving as past co-chair for the NSGC Metabolic Special Interest Group (SIG), a curator for the ClinGen Leukodystrophy and Leukoencephalopathy Gene Curation Expert Panel (GCEP), and a member of the ABGC Practice Exam Writing Committee. An active educator, she supervises students from multiple genetic counseling programs throughout Southern California.
