See more. Discover more.
Advance human health research.

Join us at AMP 2026 to explore how PacBio HiFi sequencing helps clinical and translational researchers see what others miss. Capture entire genes, resolve repeats, detect complex structural variants, and reveal phasing and methylation in a single workflow, with the accuracy and completeness your research demands.

We look forward to hearing about your research and what you’re ready to discover next.

Accelerating Clinical Genomics with HiFi Sequencing: Targeted and Rapid Whole-Genome Workflows

Deborah Moine – Senior Product Manager, PacBio
Billy Rowell – Senior Staff Scientist, Bioinformatics, PacBio

As clinical laboratories expand genomic testing, they need flexible workflows for both targeted analysis of challenging genomic regions and rapid whole-genome sequencing. In this workshop, learn how PacBio is advancing clinical genomic research with two complementary HiFi sequencing workflows. Explore PureTarget™, a targeted long-read sequencing approach for repeat expansion disorders and other difficult genomic regions that supports both on-market panels and custom assays. Then discover a rapid HiFi whole-genome sequencing workflow that streamlines sample preparation, sequencing, and analysis to reduce turnaround time while maintaining high-quality data across multiple specimen types. This session highlights practical HiFi workflows that improve efficiency, expand research capabilities, and support broader adoption of long-read sequencing in clinical research.
