Thomas Carlile received his PhD in the laboratory of Angelika Amon at MIT, and performed his postdoctoral work in the laboratory of Wendy Gilbert at MIT where he developed a method for detecting RNA modifications using NGS. After his postdoc he moved to Biogen, where he's focused on genomics applications for drug development.
