Dr. Qin Wang is a postdoctoral research fellow at Mass Eye and Ear and Harvard Medical School aiming to develop novel assays for improved HPV cancer and pre-cancer screening. He earned his PhD in Bioengineering from University of Washington, focusing on point-of-care assay development for infectious diseases including HIV and COVID-19. His currently research investigates genetic and epigenetic alterations underlying HPV carcinogenesis and their application as biomarkers in liquid biopsy. His long-term goal is to integrate cancer biology, assay design, and computational tools to develop innovative solutions that expand access to cancer care.
