Jules Bourgon is currently the District Sales Manager for the South of Europe in PacBio’s EMEA commercial team. He embarked on his long read journey with PacBio 6 years ago, in 2020, where he joined as a Territory Account Manager for France and Switzerland. Since 2024, he has been leading the sales team covering Portugal, Spain, France, and Switzerland. For the past year, his role also extended to managing the relationship with PacBio’s distribution partners in Italy, Greece, and Cyprus.


Prior to PacBio, Jules held various positions in R&D as well as sales in the cell and gene therapy field, managing various countries in Europe for over 7 years.
Jules holds a Mechanical Engineering Master's degree from the Swiss Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL).
