Dr. Giuseppe D’Auria is a researcher specialized in microbial ecology and bioinformatics, with a focus on the human gut microbiome. Currently leading the Bioinformatics Service at FISABIO, he contributed to several microbial genomics projects including the first SARS-CoV-2 sequencing efforts in Spain. His work integrates molecular techniques with computational analysis, supported by over 70 peer-reviewed publications. Beyond research, he is dedicated to scientific training, contributing to international courses in genomics and metagenomics, helping to bridge the gap between complex data analysis and biological insight.
