Professor Vorasuk Shotelersuk earned his MD from Chulalongkorn University in 1992 and completed his pediatric residency in 1996. He undertook a genetics fellowship at the NHGRI, NIH, USA, and became American board-certified in Medical Genetics in 1999. He is currently Associate Dean for Research Affairs, Director of the Center of Excellence for Medical Genomics at Chulalongkorn University, and founding President of the Thai Society of Human Genetics. With over 290 PubMed-indexed publications, he serves on WHO’s Genomics Technical Advisory Group and has received numerous honors, including the UK MRC Newton Prize and Thailand’s Outstanding Researcher and Scientist Awards.
