​Dr. James Flynn is a seasoned biotechnology product leader with a strong track record in advancing genomic technologies for both clinical and research applications. At Twist Bioscience, he serves as Staff Product Manager, overseeing next-generation sequencing (NGS) target enrichment solutions that support precision oncology and translational research initiatives, including partnerships with long-read sequencing applications. Previously at Mission Bio, he led the expansion of multi-omic capabilities and custom assays of the Tapestri Platform. Enabling high-resolution single-cell DNA sequencing and protein expression to dissect clonal heterogeneity in cancers. He has also worked on the development of plasma-based clinical diagnostics for metagenomic sequencing tests, facilitating non-invasive detection of infectious disease.
