Ellie Armstrong is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Riverside. Previously, she received her PhD in Biology at Stanford University and was subsequently a Washington Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at Washington State University, Pullman. Her research focuses on the genome biology, population genetics, and conservation of species of conservation concern, with a specific focus on carnivores. She is particularly interested in the translation and utility of genomic data for species monitoring and management.
