Dr. Nam Sy Vo is the Chief Scientific & Technology Officer, Co-Founder at GeneStory, and Director of Center for Biomedical Informatics, Vingroup Big Data Institute. His research interests focus on analysis and interpretation of large-scale biomedical data using Data Science and Machine Learning. Dr. Vo is currently leading the 1000 Vietnamese Genomes Project and various projects towards understanding disease risk and adverse drug reaction. His work has been applied to analyzing world’s largest genomic datasets such as The Cancer Genome Atlas and published in prestigious journals such as Immunity. His results have been commercialized for clinical use in the largest hospitals in Vietnam through the company GeneStory, which he co-founded. His work helps implement precision medicine in Vietnam and around the world.
