Kwang Pyo Kim received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from Seoul National University and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2002. He completed postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School under Dr. Steven P. Gygi. Since 2004, he has focused on proteogenomics of various diseases using mass spectrometry. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry at Kyung Hee University. Professor Kim has authored over 220 scientific publications and has been cited internationally more than 22,000 times.
