Sylvain Baulande is the manager of the Next Generation Sequencing platform at the Institut Curie (Paris, France). He is responsible for supervising the implementation of NGS-based applications in the field of cancer genomics, according to the needs of the research center. An important part of his activity is based on scouting for new high throughput genomic technologies. In addition, he is the co-coordinator of the Institute's Single Cell Initiative, which aims to promote the implementation of cutting-edge single-cell and spatial multi-omics technologies.
