Dr. Ben Liesfeld is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Limbus Medical Technologies, a medical software company dedicated to advancing genetic diagnostics. With a background in physics, he co-invented computer-guided laser surgery devices for ophthalmology. In 2013, he transitioned to a clinical laboratory role, where he discovered both the immense potential and the significant challenges of diagnosing rare diseases using next-generation sequencing. This experience inspired him to establish an independent enterprise focused on leveraging software and real-world evidence to unravel the complexities of genetic diseases.
