Head of Sequencing Core Facility (Next Generation Sequencing Platform, NGSP) at the University of Bern, Switzerland. In particular, the NGSP supports research projects from by offering HMW gDNA extraction, RNA extraction, library preparation and sequencing services. In particular, the NGSP has a long history of PacBio long-read sequencing and covers all applications offered by PacBio HiFi sequencing with ample experience in generating high-quality reference genomes and in microbiomics.
