Mr. Acclaim Moila completed his undergraduate studies in Biotechnology at the University of Johannesburg, and in 2013, he began his career at inqaba biotec as a lab technician. In 2016, he joined the NGS team at Centre for Proteomics and Genomics Research (CPGR) in Cape Town to further develop his skills in genomics. He returned to inqaba biotec in 2017 to take up the role of Applications Specialist for Genomics Services (Oligos/Probes synthesis, Sanger Sequencing, NGS and MassArray services).

In 2018, inqaba biotec became a distributor partner of PacBio to bring SMRT sequencing technology to the African market and Mr. Acclaim Moila became both Applications Specialist for Genomics and Technical Support for PacBio SMRT sequencing to support and train customers to run PacBio systems.
